Michelle Oyster, MS, CCRC Research Scientist




Michelle Oyster, MS, CCRC is a Research Scientist at the Human Engineering Research Laboratories, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She oversees all research projects being carried out in the clinical biomechanics laboratory. She is also an active collaborator and leads the coordination efforts of several multi-site research projects which focus on maximizing participation and quality of life among individuals with spinal cord injury who use a wheelchair. Michelle is certified by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator. She graduated from the University of Rochester with a BS in biomedical engineering in 2003. She received her MS degree in Rehabilitation Science and Technology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. While completing her graduate studies, Michelle worked as a research associate at HERL.
